Miss Mardi Gras 2008-2009

On February 16th, 2008 at 11 PM, at the New Polo Club. Three contestants battled it out for the right to be named "Miss Mardi Gras 2008-2009".
Theses contestants fought it out in three categories, presentation (costume in the Mardi Gras colors), evening gown, and talent.
While all the contestants did a great job, only one seemed to stand out to the judges. The prize package included a cash prize, a crown, trophy, and a sash.
Here is the run down, of the winners:
Second runner up was Ms Janina Jo.
First runner up was Ms Ashley Stone.
and the winner was Ms Laya Layta.
