Miss WV Pride of 2009-2010
On Friday night; May 29th, 2009, The Miss WV Pride Contest was held again at the Clay Center in Charleston, WV. As always a good turn out was on hand to see who would be crowned Miss WV Pride 2009-2010.
Among the contestants were:
Ms Patricia Knight, the current reigning Ms West Virginia Queer News
Ms Priscilla Divine
Ms Bianca Baker
Ms XTC
Ms Akasha La Pre Karmichael
and Ms Tearah Deserae
They battled it out in three categories but only one of them could become Ms WV Pride 2009-2010 and this evening, Ms Akasha La Pre Karmichael was just too much to handle. She was awarded the crown, and the grand prize package of 500 dollars.
