Olivia Knowles is one of West Virginia's top female impersonators. Now known as the "Black Barbie of West Virginia", with high paced dance numbers combined with her energetic performances and with a "Face of Grace" she is one of the most recognizable and acclaimed performers in the area. She joined the "Stonewall Showgirls" in January of 2006 as the daughter of Miss Hellen Hart. As a key personality in Huntington’s nightlife, Olivia has been all over the United States gracing clubs and pageants with her presence. She is the current reining and first ever Miss West Virgina Continental former Miss Stonewall New Face. As a Showgirl headlining at the Stonewall each week. Olivia will be sure to give you a show you will never forget. When the overture starts, and the lights are flashing, and when I think about what I am about to do when my foot hits that stage. I think of the fans and what they are about to view. I want them to see all of the musical genres from hip-hop, jazz, pop and R&B. I want them to really see the talent that I know I have. A New Face to our Fine State Ms Ashley Adams 
It is with utmost respect that I introduce myself to you. My name is Ashley Adams. I am a very "Classique" and "Statuesque" forty-year-old male who resides in Roanoke Virginia. During the day, she is a banker of fourteen years and, at night, she is a female illusionist. She has been in the art form of female impersonation for over twelve years; reigning as a titleholder on local, state, regional and national levels.
Her career began back in 1996. Her first taste of "victory" came in August 1997 when I won my first talent night after fifteen consecutive months of competing. My career in female impersonation has, from that night forward, escalated. I won my first title in December 1997 as I was voted "Horizon Award Winner". Then, in 1999, after two unsuccessful tries, I won the title of Miss Roanoke and went on to become the First Alternate to Miss Virginia America. That First Alternate placement allowed me the opportunity to compete at Miss Gay America 2000. At that time in my career, being Miss Gay America was my ultimate dream. However, that year was not my year. After a very disappointing placement in that contest, I returned in 2000 to win Miss Virginia America and return to Miss Gay America. I improved my placement that year at Miss Gay America by a total of 25 placements, making the top 20 in my second attempt at the title. Later in 2000, I was named "Roanoke's Entertainer of the Year" and inducted into "The Park's" Hall of Fame.
Since the year 2000, I have been very fortunate to win other distinguished titles such as Miss Grand Diva, Miss Statuesque, Miss Virginia Pride, Miss Mideast America, Miss DelMarVa America, Miss DC America, Miss Greensboro FFI and Miss Sweetheart FFI. But the crowning jewel in my female impersonation career came on the night of March 27, 2006.... 10 years to the day that I began female impersonation.... when I stepped onto the stage at Club Cabaret in Hickory North Carolina and heard my name called as the new Miss Gay USA Classique 2006. Finally, my dream was a reality...to be a National Titleholder! And how special it was to happen the same day that I began impersonation, ten years before. That was a moment that I will never forget.
My journey as a female impersonator has been a very fulfilling one. All the ups and downs, the trials and tribulations, the wins and the losses...I wouldn't trade a moment! I have enjoyed every stroke of a make-up brush, every closing of a zipper, every clip of an earring and every movement on the stage. I hope that time continues to be good to me throughout the rest of my life and that I'm able to entertain and meet many more extraordinary people such as you.
