Jimmy Hobbs is an intricate working part of gay life in West Virginia. Beyond the flashy smile and his expert skills as a bartender is a well rounded man who is there for the community. He has a reputation that precedes him as the one time bartender at the infamous Driftwood. He is now a visible force at the Stonewall in Huntington. Jimmy remains synonymous with everything that is good in the GLBT community.

When you are sitting across the bar from Jimmy, you feel a genuine curiosity and a true desire to be a friend with him. He goes beyond the call of duty as a bartender as he reaches in and touches a part of your soul. If we had to say one thing about him, it would be, "CLASS ACT." If you have not had the chance to meet Jimmy, go to the Stonewall on any weekend to the upstairs bar, where he serves up more than a drink. His smiling disposition is sure to keep you coming back for more.
