This is Ms Martina Dezerae. She has been a professional entertainer for 18 years now. She currently resides in Charleston, WV. She is now show director at the New Polo Club in Huntington, WV. She is originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina. Before moving to West Virginia, her and her lover of 16 years William moved from Knoxville, TN where they lived happily for 12 years. While she was there, she was show director of three clubs there.

Upon moving to West Virginia, she entered her first West Virginia pageant in Huntington. She was crowned Ms. Gay Tri- State. She then went and entered a Prelim at Trax Nightclub for the 2002 Ms. West Virginia Pride Pageant. Later that year she was Crowned Ms. West Virginia Pride 2002. In 2007, she matched this feat and again won the title of Ms Pride of WV 2008-2009 after winning the title of Ms West Virginia Queer News 2008-2009.

She would like to thank her two WV Daughters,: Coko Catoure Dezarea and Tearah Dezarea for being so good to momma & daddy too. She would also like to thank all her friends and fans for making WV feel like home, even though people still ask me where I'm from.

She has entertained up and down the east coast and abroad. Along the way I have captured many different state and regional titles: former Miss West Virginia Queer News, Miss Gay Tri-States(WV), And a 2 time former Miss West Virginia Pride. She  enjoys traveling, pageants, entertaining, meeting new people and making great friends.

That is why we want to focus on her fabulous career and can't wait to see what she has in store for us over the next year!
