The Mister Pride Celebration

Three contestants came out for the Mister Pride competition with the hopes to be crowned Mr Pride of WV 2008-2009. They were Matthew Bailey, Corey Mullins, and Preston Florez.

The winner, Matthew Bailey, had a phenomenal talent. He used his voice as his tool to seal the deal and the title. While runner up Preston Florez did great in talent, formal wear, and interview, it seemed that Matthew Bailey had just a bit more to beat Florez. Corey Mullins also brought a great package but just not enough to outdo the two competitors.

We here at West Virginia Queer News wish to congratulate them all and wish them well with the coming year and other titles they set out for.

We would also like to say that the night was filled with fun and things ran smoothly.

The night was filled with the three talented ladies, now representing the state of WV as Ms Prides of WV. They brought to the venue both glitz and glamour. They are all to be commended for the way they handled themselves over the last week or so. Congratulations to each one of you and thanks to the pride committee.
