A NEW BREED
June 1st, 2009, after careful consideration and some talk with the local clubs in my area. I had to consider a new option to crowning Mr West Virginia Queer News Leather and also Mr West Virginia Queer News Bear. I had a few choices on each on who to choose but only two really stuck in my head.
This years newly crowned Mr West Virginia Queer News Leater 2009-2010 goes to Staci London.
A well rounded individual, newly established here in our great state but proves to have the potential to make his run in the leather world. He looks to take his role and title very seriously and will surely be a leader and great representative for West Virginia Queer News over the next year. He is also a former Mr Tennessee and has held many numerous titles in the past. We want to congratulate him for being our newly crowned leather winner, succeeding Tigger from last year.
As for our newly crowned Ms West Virginia Queer News Bear 2009-2010, that goes to Zack Steed.
If you were at the third annual Mr West Virginia Queer News competition earlier this year, you saw him perform one hot number that stole the entertainment category. His unyielding and rather candid look at gay sex from a man on man perspective left people with their mouths open. He was an easy choice to select for this title. He looks to be a force in the bear world.
Both these guys were safe choices to hold these titles and will prove to be an active part of the community as well as representatives for West Virginia Queer News. We just want to wish them well, and you can see them within the next four weeks at Woodstarr for our first benefit preparing us for the first ever Parkersburg Pride Week in August.
