Miss Junior Diva 2008-2009

On Friday, November 7, 2008, I had the chance to experience a junior diva pageant and some great local talent. I watched three queens battle it out for the right to be called a queen. The competition was tight, but one queen stood out from the rest. She has poise and confidence that demands respect from the patrons as well as the very stage on which she stood.

There was overwhelming applause for her exciting talent. She has moves that you don't often see in a female impersonator. She is very unique in her look and style of drag, and I believe that with discipline, determination, and a "go out and get ‘em" attitude, this queen will be the NEXT BEST THING.

Her name is Ms. October La Croix. I see that star quality I have not seen in a queen for years. Congratulations on this title, and I am sure there will be many more to come.
