Ms Lady R Maunie
On Sept 7th, 2007, the night was set and the pageant of the season was about to take place. A lady of the night , will be crowned as the distingushed Ms Morgantown 2007.
This competition was exceptional, it came down to two final competitors, Ms Lady R Maunie and Ms Candi Hearts.
They went through three grouling categories, a judge’s interview, then presentation (big hair of the 60’s and 70’s), then talent (movies from the 80’s and 90’s), and finally a creative formal wear.
While all three were comparatively close races in all categories, Ms Lady R Maunie commanded the stage and won all three. She wowed the crowd with her rendition from the Color Purple.
By nights end, only one lady was left standing and named Ms Morgantown 2007, Ms Lady R Maunie.
We at this time, would like to congratulate Candi Hearts for making it a fun night and for doing a great job. We are sure to see more of her in the future.
