Miss West Virginia Queer News, New Face 2008-2009 Evie Sedgwick and Lacey Lynn Taylor The stage was set for two ladies to compete for the coveted and first time title of Miss West Virginia Queer News, New Face 2008-2009. It was March 14th, 2008, the place of competition, Woodstarr in Parkersburg, WV. Who you ask? Miss Evie Sedgwick
and Miss Lacey Lynn Taylors.
They battled it out in red presentation, on stage question, creative evening wear, and also talent. It was great to see two girls give their heart and soul, and show why they are the true "Divas" they have become. When it came down to crowning a winner, it was a deadlock tie, and we had to crown two ladies, Miss West Virginia Queer News, New Face 2008-2009. These are two sensational new divas who have a lot to offer the gay community and I look forward to seeing them perform at some of the other great events we host throughout the year. Congratulations goes out to both of them. May 2008 bring you nothing but achievements.
