Miss Parkersburg 2008-2009
This past Friday night, Ms Veronica Lake was in the house to give the title of Ms Parkersburg up after 9 years retaining, until Woodstarr decided to renew the tradition. Not only that, but the winner of the contest will be the first contestant for the NEW West Virginia Queer News Pride Pageant in August of 2009.
The six contestants were all ready to strut their stuff and hopefully be crowned as the newest titleholder for the city in a long time. They were:
Ms Erika Weather
Ms Buffy Covington
Ms Vanessa Jackson
Ms Gina K
Ms Trista Storm
While each contestant poured their heart out in their run for the gold, there can only be one winner and this evening Ms Gina K had what it took for the right to be called Ms Parkersburg 2008-2009!
While the first runner up was Ms Vanessa Jackson and an honorable mention was given to Ms Buffy Covington on a job well done.
